| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2005 Sampled at the RBSG ‘05 bottle tasting courtesy of hopscotch: Pours a rich, nearly opaque, dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma is semi-dry and roasty with some dark chocolate. Body is a tad thin for a sweet stout, but has nice balance and ease of drinkability with a smooth, light caramely malty sweetness. Finishes semi-dry and roasty. Scooby (50), Maryland, USA
