Feb 4, 2008 Draft, dark dark pour, I had this in nitro (nitrogen injected) and the regular draft. I definitely think the nitro was better, and noticeably different. Dark chocolate/moca flavor, with a roasted after tasted. Pretty good porter.

Feb 2, 2008 Seems like they just stopped on this one...It is a great brew with okay flavor, but falls short of my porter expectations. Well, it falls within my expectations, but not of my GREAT porters.

Jan 20, 2008 on tap-pours a dissipation tan head that laces and black color with red tint. Aroma is roasty, dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some cocoa powder/acidic. Taste is roasty, dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some cocoa powder/acidic/bitterness from hops. Medium/full body. Plenty of carbonation.

Dec 29, 2007 On draft. This American Porter is dark brown with a moderate head. The rich and pleasant aroma is malty sweet with a hints of coffee and chocolate. The taste is lightly sweet, toasted malt with some roasted coffee. Bad Moon Porter has a very creamy, thick mouth feel. The after taste leaves you with expresso and faint hops. This is a very nice Porter.

Dec 27, 2007 On Draft in Fell’s Point. Poured dark with a small head. Aroma is roasty. Taste of roasted coffee with a touch of sweetness from chocolate. Good crisp finish with the same hop presence from the venom. Nice.

Dec 3, 2007 Aroma is truly amazing. Roasty coffee and sugary sweet oats. The taste and palate are a bit weak though and slightly watery. Tastes strong as it enters your mouth but the aftertaste is non existent. A fine brew.

Nov 25, 2007 Arundel Mills location. Black pour; somewhat thin with some light oak tones around the edges. Lightly acrid espresso aroma, with crushed black pepper and cinnamon infusing dark chocolate; honey and root beer come through a bit tepidly with some warmth. Ashes and bland smoke. Heavily roasted flavor; charred skin of steak, burnt figs, and winks of brisket tang. Earthy dominance throughout. Full in the mouth with substantial dark malts to subdue the milky tones and effervescent sparkle. Rustic cocoa bitterness and a full, heavy pulse of raw roast come through at the finish. Different, and satisfying.
