argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Mar 16, 2003 Red black body. Aroma is rich dark chocolate, roasty with hints of coffee. Taste is mocha, roasty -- finishes coffee bitter. Watery up front, but improves on tongue and in swallow. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 3, 2006 Draught @ DuClaw Bowie
Black, tan head, light lacing. Nose of light creamy roast, sweet chocolate, toffee, light thin coffee. The flavor is rich, a bit strong in the caramel, full bodied. Nice and rich. hopscotch (4482), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jun 21, 2003 Dark! Very deep amber. Small, creamy, khaki head. No lacing.
Milk chocolate, vanilla, cherries and buttermilk in the nose.
The flavor is of buttermilk, milk chocolate and coffee. Simple, but very good and well-balanced.
Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, bold finish!
Very nice brew!
