Pretty mild aroma of spicy hops and bready malt. Taste about the same, pretty mild. Not too bad for a tourist beer. ben4321 (1051), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma: Lightly fruity and yeasty/grain nose
Appearance: Clear golden beer, small head
Flavor: Light grain and malt flavor, bit of fruit
Palate: Light in body, pretty thin and mild
Overall Impression:
Not a bad beer, just not a ton of character. A decent enough blonde, I guess, just not totally exciting.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Tap at Arundel Mills in Mar 2008: Pours a transparent pale golden with a thin-lacing stringy white head. Mildly sweet and slightly grainy nose is fairly bland, but not offensive. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some grainy flavors before a smooth, lightly bitter finish. Very drinkable and pretty well-balanced, just not that interesting. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Golden color with a light citrus/malt aroma and flavor. Ok, but too many weak beers here on a regular basis makes me sad. NomDeBeer (400), Maryland, USA

Every brewpub makes at least one timid little watery beer - this is DuClaw’s. lamas (730), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Draft at Bowie location. Came to the table with a very thin light-tan head. Clear amber appearance. Slightly perfumed aroma with some oranges. On the thin side. A bit of sweet caramel upfront with plenty of juicy oranges following things up. Crisp finish with a strange metallic/processed taste. A bit too grainy for the style. dkachur (2422), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
