Commercial Description:
This handcrafted brew is our most popular beer. Could it be the mild hop character and smooth drinkability that brings people back? The light color and medium body? The name?

Tap @ Bowie. Very clear golden yellow color. Average hear. Aroma is faint malt and a smidge of hops. Taste is on the sweet side. Rather watery and bland. Not bad, but not much else.

Hard to smell over the cigarettes at the bar, but I’m sure it’s no prize winner. Clear honey-gold with a thin filmy head. Medium hopping, fairly clean but a bit watery and briny, a bit biscuity, light fruitiness. Mall session beer.

On Tap in Baltimore: I was pleasently suprised by this beer, and I saying that knowing the fact that I was expecting absolutely nothing going in.

Probably the second best out of the samplign this weekend. Nothign special goign on, but if I had something out of the others (5 standards) available, I woudl be sippign on this because it’s pretty neutral. Light hop, but mainly a slight malted beer. (Tap 11/11/2006)

Draft at the Bowie location. A dark yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light note of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with a very slight hoppyness and a very light bitter end, but also hints of metal towards the end. A very light bodied beer.

Draught @ DuClaw Bowie Golden color, nice head and lacing. Nose of light fruity malt, hoppy (grassy). The flavor is fairly sweet, plenty of body and a nice floral note. A bit too sweet for my taste in a blonde. Finishes spritsy.

Solid gold color with white head. Slightly fruity, slighty hoppy aroma. Flavor is crips and clean, simple. Clean finish, not malty or hoppy. I liked it compared to their other golden/blonde ales but lacked something for me.

Clear gold with a light flavor. Not a whole lot going on with this beer. Clean and nonoffensive.
