Commercial Description:
This handcrafted brew is our most popular beer. Could it be the mild hop character and smooth drinkability that brings people back? The light color and medium body? The name?

Great beer for the ladies and drinker’s of golden ale. Nothing special here, but a great staple beer for a Micro. Highly drinkable with smooth finish that leaves you wanting something more to drink. Yeah, bare ass blonde...

Draft at DuClaw Bowie - Very smooth taste of hops with small amount of head. Clear golden color wth a refreshing earthy aroma. One of my favorite from this brewer.

(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of florals and malt. Flavor of mild grassy hops with a somewhat bitter finish.

Nice-sized draught sample at the Bel Air location. Clear amber-gold with little head....subtly malty, caramel-apple in the fairly dense but quite fresh nose....body is sweet, biscuity with again some apple, fresh juicy apple not cidery-vinegary, grassy hops are faint but discoverable....low carbonation, somewhat sticky. Definitely my least-favorite beer in this session, and it’s still very drinkable...Du Claw is awesome!

Fells Point - an okay golden ale. Light golden color, a bit of this, a sprinkle of that, add in a touch of ... in terms of taste & nose. Nothing jumps out as noteworthy. Not bad at all. A brew for the masses by a good brwer.

Bel Air- Pours a brssy yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma is sweet fruits and berries. Light fruits in the flavor (apples, pears, strawberries) with a little honey and some sweet and grassy hops in the finish. Not a bad one.

On tap: Light aroma with hints of apple. Transparent golden-orange with a small white head. Hints of apple up front with a light bitter finish. Light and watery. I get this apple taste in many macros, but this is the first time I’ve noticed in a brewpub offering.

12/2/05: On Tap, Bowie.
Hop aroma with a golden brown body which includes lacing. Subtle strawberry flavor with hops and a bit of malt. Stinky hop bite and finish.
