Mildly sweet and slightly grainy nose is fairly bland, but not offensive. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some grainy flavors before a smooth, lightly bitter finish. Very drinkable and pretty well-balanced, just not that interesting. hopscotch (5498), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 25, 2003 Crystal clear, light golden ale with an everlasting, creamy white head.
The nose is of butter, soap and lightly floral hops. Thin flavor. Not much of a malt profile. Well-balanced. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short dry finish. True to the style. A good Summer beer for those who are making the switch from the BMC bunch to craft-brewed beers. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA

Golden color, nice head and lacing. Nose of light fruity malt, hoppy (grassy). The flavor is fairly sweet, plenty of body and a nice floral note. A bit too sweet for my taste in a blonde. Finishes spritsy.
