Draft at Fell’s - Black with a thin tan head, roasted malt aroma, malty roasted flavor, little sweetness, slightly watery... pretty decent

Tap at Arundel Mills in Mar 2008: Pours a mostly opaque black with a thin, frothy covering of tan head. Mildly roasty dark malty nose has a hint of sweetness and some fresh grassy green hops. Body starts semi-sweet quickly drying out revealing some dark caramel and chocolate before a roasty dry finish. A nice dry stout, even better on nitro tap as Nitro Fury.

Blackish in color with a dry roasty aroma. Flavor is full bodied with some dry roast, coffee, and light hops. Pretty good overall.

On Nitro at Bel Air. I was a little worried this would be a watery-bland Guiness clone, but I was pleasantly surprised. The body is a bit watery, but smooth and very very easy to drink. The flavor is quite impressive for its subtlety. Great roasted/nutty profile, flavor really shines and is clean, lasts throughout. Roasted coffee, but again, very clean and well put together. Flavors weren’t muddled or watery, they stood out. Drinkable and delicious for the style. May be the best irish style stout I’ve had yet.

Draft @ Bel Air location in March 2008. Dry stout with a nice combination of hoppy bitterness and roasted malt sweetness. Notes of coffee, smoke, and chocolate. Nitro pour delivers silky mouthfeel, though it could have a bit more body. Still, very good.

Black body, not much for head is formed. Aroma is dry smoke, slight metallic note. Flavor is dry, roasted bitterness. Nice full body.

Ntro-pour at Belair location. Nice, thick tan creamy head over a dark, roasty dry stout with hints of coffee and chocolate. I really enjoyed thisone, maybe the best DuClaws brew I’ve had.
