Draft at DuClaw Fells Point. Black body with no head. Nose is roasted malts, light coffee and hints of dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, light coffee-ish notes and dark chocolate. Pretty typical but done well enough to be good. Body is medium with a moderate carbonation feel. Finishes with more roastiness, dark chocolate, cocoa, light coffee and sweet malts. Nice dry stout!

Bel Air. Poured a medium/watery black body with a small white foam. The aroma was roasted malts, and a little toffee. Flavors were kind of boring. Mostly just thin black coffee with bread. Sounds like breakfast in prison to me. Not impressed much here.

(Draught) Pours an opaque black body with a moderate tan head. Aroma of chocolate, breadiness, vanilla, and roasted malt. Flavor of sweet chocolate and roasted malt.

On tap at Bowie, Md. Poured out a deep dark brown, with red highlights. Thin dark mocha head, faded too quickly. Not nitro poured, either. Aromas are of chocolate malts, slight biscuit, and burnt sugars. Body is thin, too much so. Flavors are of burnt coffee beans, dry biscuit malts, chocolate malts, and a background of earthy hops. Not my cup of tea.

Draft... Black ale with a small, creamy, beige head. Good retention. The nose is of vanilla, chocolate, cofee and cashews. Sweet, chocolatey flavor. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Short, too sweet, chocolatey finish. Not at all dry!

Draft @ the Belair pub, nitro pour. Small tan head, decent retention with that layered rings of lace. Nose of roast and dark chocolate and maybe a touch of smoke. Black bodied brew with some ruby highlights. Body is medium, creamy, lightly gritty. Roast and chocolate flavors up front, black malt and also picked up a bit of lactic sourness. Finish is dry and roasty with a bit of a bite.

(Bowie) Tan head atop a black body. Aroma is medium sweet, chocolate, roast, light smoke, lactic sourness and astringency. Taste is medium sweet, milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, roast, some coffee. Creamy medium body that is more full than usual for the style (a good thing in my book).

Aroma is nice a chocolaty,roasty-coffee,slight metallic twinge.Nice looking stout that had a pleasant roasted barley taste with some choco-coffee present. Some hops at the end with a pumped Co2 vibe though the palate was creamy and easy.Good session stuff.
