Firkin Friday at Bowie location. Came to the table with a skim of a tan head on top of a deep mahogany body. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasty malts, caramel, and some grapefruit. Medium-bodied and smooth. Lots of sweet caramel, semi-sweet chocolate, and some vanilla start things off taste-wise. Roasty coffee flavors and a little sourness follow. A hoppy, drying finish that lingers.
