Commercial Description:
The name says it all! This unique brew comes in officially at 21.92% abv. This was accomplished by the use of 3 different strains of yeast and a lot of TLC. Technically an ale, but this monster has complex flavors and aromas that suggests characteristics of mead and fruit wines. Be sure to sample Colossus at several different temperatures including heated. That's right!...heat it up to about 105'F for yet another unique experience of flavors and aromas!

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. The look is clear, copper amber in color with not much of its off white head. The smell is alcohol, dark fruits, caramel, lots going on. Really strong alcohol in the taste but maybe not 22%, sweet, syrupy, thick feel. Caramel and fruits.

it took me a year but i finally tracked this down thanks to scraff. poured amber/ruby with a white head. aroma was great with candi sugar??, caramel, and some dark fruits. flavor was pretty much the same. this thing was sweet beyond all belief and thats what i liked about it. had a nice slick body. this bad boy was worth the wait. we didnt get to try any heated because the bottle was finished. maybe next time.

This one courtesy of ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Pours clear reddish copper with a slight beige head. The nose is big on malt and fruit. Sort of red berry. No heat issue. Full bodied with mildly frothy carbonation. Flavors are like plum, berry, honey, spice, malt, and I bet I could imagine more. It’s fairly complex. Heat is barely detectable. Rather like a not so sweet mead.

Courtesy of ericandersnavy. Clear amber color with a fleeting head. Big malty sweet n spicy fruity aromas. Wonder bread malty flavors with sweet pit fruits, spicy caramel, tough to spot the 21%abv here. Gotta try this heated sometime.
