| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Draft at Bowie location. Poured a light mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, chocolate, nuttiness, and hints of grapefruitiness in the background. Thin body. Some caramel, dark chocolate, and a bit of coffee start things off taste-wise. A touch of grapefruity hoppiness at the end. A smoky, sour quality throughout. Another poor attempt at a style that most just can’t get right. scottw86 (185), Maryland, USA

Overall pretty good, and definitely good for a brown ale. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
