beachbum25 (581), Powellville, Maryland, USA May 15, 2008 On tap @ Arundel Mills. Golden yellow color w/a moderate white head. Aroma of corn & bread dough. Kind of a basic, easy drinking, light, summer brew. This will never be confused w/a classic, world class brew, but it’s not trying to be. It’s just a beer you can knock a few back & enjoy w/o thinking about it too much. Some flavors of bread dough & hay, maybe a little corn. Very slight hop bite. Decent mouthfeel, not too thin. Plesent finish. scraff (1612), Baltimore, Maryland, USA May 13, 2008 Sparkling gold, fizzy white head. Soft cornbread and faint earthy citrus aromas. Flavor is corn and lightly sweetened citrus throughout. Well balanced and refreshing. Light bodied with light carbonation. This would be easy to put a growler down on a typical MD summer afternoon... themadmumis (343), Westminster, Maryland, USA Jul 29, 2007 An average Cerveza. Enjoyed as a part of the sampler from the Arundel Mills location. Threw a lemon in the glass and it ended up tasting like lemon. Very Corona-like and nothing more, except maybe a fuller body. That’s it. Cobra (1022), In the snake pit, Maryland, USA Jul 4, 2007 Updated: Jul 12, 2007On tap at Bowie location. It’s supposed to be a Mexican lager. Tastes a lot like Corona. Watery body, light yellow color, thin white head. Under carbonated, barely a trace of bubbles rising. Aromas are of corn, cheap adjuncts. Not much in the way of hops. Not the best beer Duclaw ever brewed, that much is certain. kmweaver (1808), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA May 5, 2007 Tap, Bowie location. Described as a "light lager", released for Cinco de Mayo. Pours a clear, medium golden color; white head with good lacing. Light, fruity aroma with hints of sugar. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: slightly grapey upfront; average carbonation with a nice balance of sugar and citrus. Light, doughy and sugar finish. Tasty but light; very sessionable.
