Draft at Arundel Mills at the X-mas in July party.Pours hazy golden with a white head. Faint aroma of yeast, lemon, and honey. Light bodied, with a mouth feel that is is soft and slightly yeasty. Flavor of pale wheat malts and yeast, countered by subtle hops and and spice. Not much residual sweetness. Clean and refreshing summer beer finish. This is quite an interesting take on the style, as this has some hefe AND american wheat like and nice subtleties. This is not a palate killer, but still enjoyable and under rated in my opinion.

Once a seasonal, now a staple on tap by popular demand. This is a new version with an all-american hop bill that’s minus the honey. Sparkling gold, creamy white head. Nose held soft notes of grassy florals, toasted grains, and fresh bread dough. Just a hint of citrus plays out upon further warming. Flavor was very well balanced and clean with touches of florals, grass, and grainy yeastiness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, light breadsy finish. As I am not a fan of the American Wheat, but this brew one is very well done. Perfect for consuming in mass quanity on a hot summer day...

A good summer beer. I agree with Guzzler, "Sweet wheat taste with a hop balance". As the beer loses some of the coldness, the flavor of the Funk tends to agree with me even more.

Light amber appearance with a decent head. Modest, grain-like nose. Sweet taste with little hop balance. While this brewery is one of my favorites, this style, for my tastes, is only in the "ok" range.

Growler, courtesy of my amigo Russ. Thanks, dude! Pours a brilliantly clear, honey-orange color; white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Sugar and floral notes in the aroma. Medium, sugary mouthfeel: citrus hops and minerals. Light citrus and sugar finish. Very drinkable.

Tap @ Arundel Mills: Poured a clear golden color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was malty with some earthy hops and a light wheatyness. Malty flavor with the wheat character appearing on the light side. Tasty though. Hint of citrus with a mild bitterness at the end. Refreshing (after driving 10 hours to get there). Semi-dry finish with a light to medium body.

The aroma was a low light wheat and spice with a very low malt presence. The beer could certainly use a boost in the aroma department. The flavor had a nice malty backbone with caramel and spicy hops. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation which was creamy and nice on the palate. The brew was quite thirst quentching although just a bit sweet. It stood the test of time and the bittering seemed to increase as the beer warmed.

Light lemon nose. Golden sunshine body with a small white head. Wheat flavor with grass and slight hops.
