Poured out a dark brown color, with a thin tan head. Aromas are of roasted malts, coffee beans, dark dried fruit. Flavors are of roasted malts, spicy hops, coffee beans. Medium body, thin mouthfeel. Mot my favorite offering from Duclaw.

Probably the worst beer I’ve ever had. It was supposed to be an IPA, but no hops to the nose, nor to the taste. The backend had the distinctive taste of dirt. Won’t buy it again. :( savnac (453), Palmer, Alaska, USA

Citrus and pine hop aroma with a good amount of caramel malt. Full flavored, bitter and sweet that is nicely balanced. Medium body with a mild carbonation and a long dryish finish. Tasty. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 15, 2009 Location: Draft at the Fells Point Brew Pub, 9/6/09
Aroma: Some citrus, hops, a bit spice, some floral essence in there as well
Appearance: Clear golden color, lots of lace on the glass
Flavor: A nice hoppy flavor with a good amount of spice and caramel malts for backing
Palate: Medium bodied brew, lingering flavor
Overall Impression:
This was a pretty average IPA, not great, not bad. Something you could drink no problem, but not something you’d go out of your way for. Try this one at DuClaw as you are sitting outside enjoying the view.

Has a fresh piny grapefruity hoppy nose with sweet pale malty undertones. Starts with decent fullness and sweet toasty caramel and pale malt before a crisp, bittersweet finish. A pretty nice IPA with good grapefruity citrusy hoppy notes. elihapa (1067), Honolulu, California, USA
