Very light crisp clean flavor. Had a slight lemon/citrus flavor. Not terribly complex, but an easy drinking, pleasent, sesson brew. Nice finish, somewhat sweet. Would be a good starter beer for someone not used to cratf beer. kmweaver (2501), Sebastopol, California, USA

Slight amounts of minerals and citrus in the aroma. Light, crisp mouthfeel: minerals, sugar, and hints of citrus. Quick finish. A refreshing, satisfying lager. biggcb (464), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Tap @ Bowie. Could have been Miller Lite in the glass for all I knew. Golden yellow color. Small whitish head. Aroma is bland, with some corn and something else. Taste is watery, trace amount of malt and a slightly bitter finish. Not recommended. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

This is a very poor example of a lager, moreso if they are attributing it to an Australian. I have no idea where they were trying to go for taste. It was EXTREMELY bitter and just had no kick. It was almost as bland as water, but for the bitterness. I may just say it’s above Venom, just becuase the batch of Venom Ihad was waay to bitter and waaay to hoppy for my taste. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 12, 2006 [Draft at the Bowie location] This is announced as an Australian Lager - never heard of the style, so it must be a new style for me - and probably should be added to Ratebeer ;-) I think this beer would be a good introduction into drinking craft beer - but I think I’m too "old" for that.
A pale yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of cardboard and corn. The flavor is sweet again with notes of corn and cardboard, leading to a dry slightly bitter finish.
