It came to me a light, pale straw yellow color, with a thin white head. Barely left a ring of foam around the sides of the glass. Over carbonated, fizzy even. Aromas are of lager yeast, stale bread, and pilsener malts. Thin body, underhopped for the style. Not my favorite Duclaw beer by any means. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is sweet, finishes with a drying hop bitter. Not much more to say about this one. Good piney hops are used. Having been to Australia, I can positively say this beer would be a fan favorite and would fit in well at a kangaroo roast. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2005 from the arundel mills brewpub, a weak nose, nothing jumping out, a very pale golden color with a thin white head. flavor was grassy and flowery, not what i expect from a premium lager...maybe an american pale ale. a little bit of spicyness to the tail, with a very bitter afteretaste that lingered in my mouth. again, i couldnt help but think this was around to satisfy the bmc drinkers that come into the pub. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2005 Very average beer, bubbly and malty, average appearance of the beer was matched by the inattentiveness of the waitstaff. Decent, but very forgetable. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Sparkling golden ale, creamy white head. Light citrusy nose with a touch of sweet malt and breadiness. Flavor was similar, balanced, with an additional light earthy, grassy undertone. Light bodied, soft carbonation, crisp finish. A better version of Foster’s, and good for a hot summer day....
