Draft... Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fruity, earthy nose with notes of grapefruit, white pepper, clementine and pineapple. Fruity, moderately bitter flavor. Light to medium-bodied and fizzy. Finishes bitter then dry. "Mistakes" are often simply "creations" with another name.

(Bowie) White head atop a clear straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple, some orange. Taste is moderately sweet, pineapple, grpefruit, some orange, light duskiness. Some dryness in the finish. Moderately bitter, nice hop burp. Light-medium body, light acidity, somewhat watery.

Draft at DuClaw in Baltimore, July 2006. Clear, medium yellow colored body, with strings of bubbles rising throughout the glass. Crisp, bubbly, peppery, lively on the tongue, but mostly from the carbonation rather than yeast and/or hops. Tinny pine wood and copper metallic twinge to the hops. A little too fizzy, like Sprite, with a mildly soapy finish.

Had during a sampler at the restaurant. They told us it was the recipe for Sawtooth that accidentally had the Venom Pale Ale hops added to it. The aroma was excellent, nice and hoppy but not overpowering. Had a golden color with a longer lasting white head than either of it’s component beers. The flavour was fruity and citrus, but again not overpowering. This would have been my favorite ale of theirs if not for the astringent finish on the beer which mirrored that of the Venom. Funny this was a mistake for them and turned out more complex and refined than either of it’s parents.

Clear gold with a head that has real lasting power. Lemony, grapefruit hops. Pretty interesting spicey hops. Very light malt. Not a bad screwup.

Great Brew. The server explained to us that Kismet was a mixture between the Bare Ass Blonde and Venom. Both brews can be tasted in this excellent blend of an unannounced offering. Well mixed with the medium body of the lager and hoppy finish of an IPA. Well done!

Light chill hazed gold, creamy white head. Nose was front loaded with juicy grapefruit and pine, and soft touches of tangerine. The flavor is all hops, but only carries a moderate hop slap to the face. Nicely unbalanced and refreshing. Light to medium bodied, prickly carbonation, drying bitter finish. This one is a tribute to the hop without major abv implications. Great session IPA...
