Nose was front loaded with juicy grapefruit and pine, and soft touches of tangerine. The flavor is all hops, but only carries a moderate hop slap to the face. Nicely unbalanced and refreshing. Light to medium bodied, prickly carbonation, drying bitter finish. This one is a tribute to the hop without major abv implications. Great session IPA... BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

Golden yellow, nice head and lacing. Nose of light sweet malt, fruity and floral hops. The flavor is juicy, sweet and rich with hops, not quite dry hopped. Plenty of flavor hops though. Good. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA

The server explained to us that Kismet was a mixture between the Bare Ass Blonde and Venom. Both brews can be tasted in this excellent blend of an unannounced offering. Well mixed with the medium body of the lager and hoppy finish of an IPA. Well done! hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 21, 2006 Draft... Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fruity, earthy nose with notes of grapefruit, white pepper, clementine and pineapple. Fruity, moderately bitter flavor. Light to medium-bodied and fizzy. Finishes bitter then dry. "Mistakes" are often simply "creations" with another name. kmweaver (2501), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Draft @ Bowie location, 2005 vintage. Pours a hazy, medium honey color with an orangish tinge; off-white head with fantastic, glass-coating lacing. Solid, bitter citrus hop presence remains in the aroma, but there’s also a cold metallic note in there (which dissipates after it warms). Medium-to-full, citrus-laden mouthfeel: still shows a very dense, bitter hoppiness after two years; lively carbonation and citrus acidity at the edges of the tongue, with a fizzy texture showing through after the initial hop jolt dissipates. Surprisingly hoppy and well-composed at this point, with a similar hop profile to Venom. Lengthy, dry and bitter hop finish; slightly dusty. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
