jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 18, 2009 on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is clove/banana, sweet medium malt, some spice hops, cinnamon. Taste is clove/banana, sweet medium malt-caramel/licorice, some spice hops, cinnamon. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA Jun 8, 2009 5/27/09 notes: on tap at DuClaw Fell’s Point. Aroma is the most banana-ey I have ever sniffed in a beer. There is also some clove and nutmeg that deepen the smell. Flavor is also banana-like sweetness, a bold blend that flirts with becoming cloying, but in my opinion manages to stay on the right side of the line. The finish lingers impressively, imparting close to no alcohol bitterness. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA May 25, 2009 Its got a lot of nice spice--very present banana and cloves. Sweet body, but the problem is the sweetness is a bit unbalanced, and lasts to long. Its annoying after a while, but I appreciate the spices. lamas (709), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA May 22, 2009 Draft at Bowie location. A hazy amber/mahogany with a small tan head by the time it got to my table. The aroma is of ripe bananas, caramel, cloves, cinnamon, and hints of vanilla extract. Medium-bodied. Ample maltiness with lots of caramel, cinnamon, and vanilla extract upfront. A wheaty end with ripe bananas and cloves. Some warming alcohol is present. Excellent balance throughout. Very nice. NomDeBeer (397), Maryland, USA May 21, 2009 Copper color with no head. Aroma of cloves and bananas. Taste is cloves bananas, pepper, and a touch of alcohol. Smooth finish with low carbonation. Good beer, drinkable and enjoyable. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/27/2007

lukin013 (211), Columbia, Maryland, USA Jun 8, 2007 On tap at Arundel Mills. Mahogany body with small light brown head. Aroma is lightly sweet and dominated by the banana, while the flavor seems to highlight the clove. Alcohol is a bit noticeable in the finish. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA Aug 30, 2006 Very little head, complex flavor with alcohol content that slightly pops out. Clear banana taste in this great looking brew. Better than average Weizenbock for a limited time only.
