Jun 30, 2007 RBSG 2007: Poured a nice dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma, smoky notes, peaty, with some oak. Flavor, oaky, some smoky notes, roasty, caramel, with some vanilla as well. Very nice.

Oct 5, 2007 RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Brown/ebony, light head and lacing. Nose of dark plum and toast, crusty bread and fig. Nice malts, smooth and spicy with light alcohol. Good, nice finish. Excellent actually.
