RBSG 2007: Poured a nice dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma, smoky notes, peaty, with some oak. Flavor, oaky, some smoky notes, roasty, caramel, with some vanilla as well. Very nice.

RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Brown/ebony, light head and lacing. Nose of dark plum and toast, crusty bread and fig. Nice malts, smooth and spicy with light alcohol. Good, nice finish. Excellent actually.

Bottle RBSG 07. Dirty brown pour with a light tan head. Aroma of rich caramel, light bourbon, and sweet malt. Flavors of bready caramel malt, light bourbon and a tinge of smoke. Medium body, malty and boozey with a boozey finish.

dark brown, wispy beige head, oaky dark caramel aroma, lots of dark caramel flavor, lots of oak character does a good job balancing the caramel sweetness, nice vanilla blends well with the caramel
