Cobra (1021), In the snake pit, Maryland, USA Dec 24, 2007 On tap at Bowie. Poured a hazy straw yellow/whitish color, with a huge white head. Aromas are citrus, spices, yeasty bread. Flavors are of lactic wheat malt, corriander, orange rind.
Medium mouthfeel, decent body. Makes for a good session beer. Skeegle (277), USA Dec 3, 2007 Wonderfully light flavors but the beer has an amazing mouth presence. Not much else to say, a well spiced light beer. beachbum25 (577), Powellville, Maryland, USA Nov 27, 2007 On tap @ Bowie location-Poured a very cloudy golden color w/a moderate white, foamy head. Floral wheat aroma. Flavors of wheat, citrus, & grass w/a spicy finish-colander is what I’d call it. This was a very easy drinking brew, perfect after a long drive to my Thanksgiving destination. Would be good to enjoy a few out on the patio there. Dry spicy finish. jehoey (665), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 16, 2007 usually a fan of wits i found this to be really perfumy. the aroma was quite nice though. lots of spice and something that really smelled like perfume, floral... couldy yellowish beer with a head the cleaved to the edges of the glass. Expected a good flavor since I liked the aroma so much, but was disappointed. It seemed a little unbalanced in some regard... maybe too much corriander or something, but it tasted much more like perfume than I cared for. medium palate. webjedi (247), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA Oct 12, 2007 Good on tap.. shit when in a growler. I actually had this beer fall apart on me. It was pleasant form the tap in the restaurant, a nice summer wit, however, upon getting it home, it just went down hill within two days. I’ve never had that in a beer. SO my rating is from the restaurant experience, but be warned if you walk from the pub with a growler of this... drink it right away or you’ll have odd tasting water shortly thereafter. All the good flavor characters are there, almost dry, but refreshing... a little thin on the tongue though. (On Tap 9/18/2007)
