Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma has licorice, coffee, rye. Black coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet, has some bitterness, roast, coffee and licorice. Could be a bit more heavy.

Aug 14, 2008 Draught at SOPP 2008, Helsinki. Black color with creamy tan head. Coffee, charcoal, chocolate and licorice in the aroma. Sweet, sugary, worty and mildly roasty flavor with salty licorice, dark rye bread, charcoal and low bitterness. Chewy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Too sweet.

Jul 31, 2008 (Draught at SOPP2008) Almost black. Largish tan head. Roasted malts and liquorice in nose. Full palate with little carbonation. Liquorice, coffee, bitterness and lightly vanilla in taste. Long-lasting aftertaste.

Jul 28, 2008 Draught@SOPP2008, Helsinki. Very deep brown color, tan head. Sweet aroma with some licorice. Flavor has notes of unsweetened chocolate and juicy malts. Syrupy mouthfeel. I’d like to have a chance to pair this one with some choice desserts.

Almost opaque dark brown color, small tan head. Milky, smokey, roasted dark malty aroma. Milky, sweetish stout with light roastyness. Way too sweet for being "Russian Imperial Stout" (as seller claimed).
