Draught at the Rover, Göteborg. Pitch black, brown head. Chocolate aroma, milky, vanilla, viol, tar, smoky notes and some mint. Malty, roasted flavor, dark chocolate, some mint and quite hoppy. Licorice finish.

Bottled @ Scandinavian Brewers Conference. Dark brown body with a light brown head. Very pleasant aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is smooth, roasted malt, coffee tones and dry fruit. Very pleasant indeed. Long and fine finish. Sam Calagione liked this a lot.

Drauht @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph. Pitch blanc coloured. Dense light brown head. Chococlate, light liqourice and light grassy notes in the aroma. Flavour is chocolatish, light roasted, has liqourice notes, light coffee and light spice. Is quite balanced. Full bodied. Quite dry. Has a chocolatish, roasted bitterness in the end. Nice one.

Tap @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph. Pours a redish black-brown. On top sits a creamy brownish head. When drinking it there is a lot of lacing. Aroma has a lot of coffee - almost so much that it burns in my nose. Some smoke and dark chocolate in there as well. Very low carbonation, making the beer more oily than creamy. Taste is not so powerful to begin with. A touch sweet with some chocolate. Then the coffee appears, and sticks around for quite some time. When the beer heats up, some sweet caramel appears as well. There is absolutely no indication of hops.

Draught at Akkurat. This is cold coffee turned into beer. And it works perfectly. Dugges is quickly nudging it’s way to the apogee of Swedish micros. Keep it up.

Fad: Kold kaffe, god maltbase med en anelse frugt. Men den dominerende duft og smag var kold kafe

Black colour with a tan head. Quite roasted and coffee bitter aroma with a vague sweet note. Roasted, coffee bitter flavor with a light chocolate sweet note. Dry, burnt finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Distincly burned, coffeeish aroma. Rather solid body with very burned accents, licorice, coffee, tar and a whiff of smoke. A vague acidity probably deriving from the malt - ditto with the heavy bitterness. 160607
