On top sits a creamy brownish head. When drinking it there is a lot of lacing. Aroma has a lot of coffee - almost so much that it burns in my nose. Some smoke and dark chocolate in there as well. Very low carbonation, making the beer more oily than creamy. Taste is not so powerful to begin with. A touch sweet with some chocolate. Then the coffee appears, and sticks around for quite some time. When the beer heats up, some sweet caramel appears as well. There is absolutely no indication of hops. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Distincly burned, coffeeish aroma. Rather solid body with very burned accents, licorice, coffee, tar and a whiff of smoke. A vague acidity probably deriving from the malt - ditto with the heavy bitterness. 160607
