Draught at EBF. Black with small beige head. Strong dry coffee beany aroma, espresso, little grainy and burned maltiness. Dry, coffee and cocoa flavor, espresso, little vinous finish, some hops. Nice and balanced coffeeish brew.

Bottle RBESG 07 ... While others liked this better i found it the poorer brother of the Full Idjit. HOWEVER it is still by far a superior beer to many. Deep black . light smokeyness with some fruit in nose ... juicy malts fruity with some tobacco tones especially in linger.

Tk2 draught at EBF Copenhagen 2008 ... Deep black ... rich malts ... little chocolate nose... deep malts rich alcohol ... little coffee and more roast malts.

Tk3 Bottle at home ... Thanks Jeppe ... Deep brown ... big tobacco nose ... deep roast lots of chocolate and tobacco ... quite a lot of fruit ... medium body ... low carbonation... Much as i enjoyed this again ... i wish i could get a 2nd bottle of the Full Idjit.

Draught@EBF 2008. Black body with ruby highlights, tan creamy head. Aromatic; cocoa, roasted dark malts and dusty hops. Light sourish malt flavor with lots of roastiness. Strong, almost resiny bitterness. Licorice and fruit notes. Thick and filling. Dry bitter ending. Very nice.

[on tap at EBF 2008] Roasty toasty aroma with some sherry and vanilla, but not oaky. Almost clear dark brown with a tawny ring. Extremely roasty flavour but not bubblegummy like I usually get from roasty beers. Also toasty in a Porter-like way. Sort of a hybrid Porter/Stout, reminding me of fo the "7-barrel brewery’s" stout. Medium body, scratchy dry, a touch sour in the finish.

Dark brown, black. Clear. Has an beige head, mostly lasting. Aroma: Coffee, toasted, roasted, malty. Flavor starts moderate sweet, then heavy acidic and bitter. Coffee again. Burnt bread. Dry, watery texture.

Wow! This new hop is making it even better than last times I’ve tried it. Wow. That’s all I can say.

To celebrate my 1100th rating this month. Dark brown with huge deep beige long lasting head. Sweet aroma with plenty of roasted malt, coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Sweet flavour with burned malt, coffee and liquerice notes. Finished dry and roasted.

Draught at EBF. Pours pithc black with a creamy beige head. Wow coffee all the way in aroma with some choco and roasted malty notes. Flavour is coffee as well as some burnt malt and smoke. Tasty and complex.
