Jan 31, 2009 50 cl bottle, bought at Systembolaget. Mölndal Sweden. Dark body, gentle foam. Lovely smell of licorice, coffee, rosted malts. Balanced taste with a lot of coffee and licorice. This is one of my absolut favorite beers.

Nov 3, 2009 Botlle. Red black colour with a tan head. Aroma is dry, smoked, coffe, cacao, roasted , malt, chocolate. Flavour is the same . Full bodied world class beer.

Jul 8, 2007 Bottled @ Scandinavian Brewers Conference. Dark brown body with a light brown head. Very pleasant aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is smooth, roasted malt, coffee tones and dry fruit. Very pleasant indeed. Long and fine finish. Sam Calagione liked this a lot.

Sep 29, 2007 Dark brown with hints of ruby. Great aroma. Palate is wonderful with hints of butter without any diacetyl. Extremely smooth and velvety with many layers of maltiness. One of the best porters I have had.
