Commercial Description:
The heartiest brew from the Gothenburg suite is a Robust Porter full-eared with caramel malt, balanced with black- and chocolate malt, then topped with a pinch of oat. The hops are First Gold, Pioneer and Chinook. This porter easily tightens your waist-belt in company with the porter steak, chocolate dessert or as stimulant on its own. In earlier days porter was recommended for breast feeding women but we have no intensions of doing so.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Really black with rich, rocky head. Roasty, lightly grainy coffee aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and notes of honey.Coffee dominates. A beefy porter, but the sweetness along with notes of molasses reduces my enjoymant. Spicy finish with medium bitterness.Very American style porter.

Draft at Bishop Arms, Gothenburg. Pitch black. Thick white milkshake head. Head falls down after a while, but I don’t blame it. This is a wonderful beer. Aroma is rich and roasty. One of the best porters I’ve ever had. Fruity aromas, perhaps a bit too estery. Minty hops.

Black color, thin brownish cap. Fat aroma of roasted malt, a bit cheesy. Full bodied, some malt, a lot of caramel and roasted malts, some sweetness; everything well mixed. Also, light liquorice and a reminescence of China Martini (pronounce it Kina Martini, an excellent Italian digestive derived from the bark of cinchona tree)
At the end (strong caramel, toffee, roasted malt) it seems to be a bit young. The hopping, even if hidden by the roasted malts, is of very good quality. Very good beer.

Big, dark beige creamy head, opaque black body. Sweet chocolatey, roasty harmonic aroma with a touch of hops. Deep, sweet, roasty, coffeeish taste with bitter, dry aftertaste with clear hop notes. Nice, easily drinkable porter. (On tap.)
