Fantastically smooth IPA offering from the Swedish masters, this beer is truly ensouled. Copious amounts of hops, but wtih a softer edger than I’ve had before, foam that art in heaven made, and overall a fullness of love of the craft that is powerfully felt in every sip. When beer reaches this level, we’re entering the realm of art and all standard descriptions of color, nose and what have you ceases to matter. This is a brew for the soul, for linking with all that which is best in man. MiP (9162), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Draught, 8%. Soapy, citric aroma from the hops. Clear dark brown, chestnut colour. Creamy, very stable light brown head. The flavour is also soapy, a little perfumy. The hoppiness gets a little sour and rough in the finish. Seems a little green, I think I would enjoy it more after a year’s cellaring. thewolf (5838), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a deep brownish red with a medium creamy greyish head (leaves good lacing). Great aroma, lots of fruit, pine, grass and malty caramel. Full, round mouthfeel. Flavour begins with caramel, then turns fruity, with slightly cloying hops before finishingflowery hoppy with some ashy feel to it. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

Copper brown color, off-white brownish creamy head. Barnyardish fruity aroma. Medium-bodied, malty, grapefruity IPA - brewers said that single Chinook-hop is used here. Makes this more session beer than High Five! Less character though ... Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland
