Full malty base combined with a generous helping of flowery hops. A great beer. Lovely dry finish. Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Deep veiled copper with mysterious climbing head almost looking like a nitro muchroom. A pure darker meringue. Very rich nose displays, at its best, the Dugges malt traits that I dig immensely. Extreme fruitiness, not limited to hop aromas. The Duggest typical strawberry notes is all over, giving it a dessert feel, reddish berries abound atop of tropical notes, mostly litchee, lime, papaya.. melon.. A tartish vinous earthiness joins in to complexify this already bubble gummy, complex dessert baked in caramel sauce. Medium to thick body supports those flavors like a champion. Creamy and easy going palate. Oh yeah, did you know this was an IPA? Over the already pleasant foundations previously described, you need to add a flowery perfume emanating from this jolly snifter. Wonderful foresty hints, coniferous, sappy and most of all floral, earthy with pomegranate and blood oranges nuances. Soft support carbonation. A bloody good beer that. It reminds me of one of my favorite IPAs ever, that is the one that Stoudts used to bottle-condition in 765mL bottles. Perhaps even maltier that Dugges.. Atypical. A wonderful sipper, very close to a barley wine, but the hops are rocking in there. cphbeerking (154), København K, Denmark

Fantastically smooth IPA offering from the Swedish masters, this beer is truly ensouled. Copious amounts of hops, but wtih a softer edger than I’ve had before, foam that art in heaven made, and overall a fullness of love of the craft that is powerfully felt in every sip. When beer reaches this level, we’re entering the realm of art and all standard descriptions of color, nose and what have you ceases to matter. This is a brew for the soul, for linking with all that which is best in man. ekstedt (2447), Göteborg, Sweden

Amber clear color with medium but very thick, almost stout-like, head. Wonderful aroma full of floral and perfumy hops, backed up by a tropiclal fruit profile with peach and apricot. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavour balances malt sweetness well with a massive yet not overwhelming hop bitterness. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden

Pours out in a reddish amber colour, topped with a huge, rocky white head. Rich and really enjoyable hop aroma of pine-needles, blood-oranges, black-currant leaves, grapefruit and wet grass. Flavour starts sweet of black currant and blood-oranges. Finishes really dry and bitter of grapefruit and pine-needles. The alcohol is totally hidden. Full and a bit sticky mouthfeel. Great IPA, bordering to an 2^¨IPA.
