Hazy charneol colour with a firm head. Aroma is wonderfully fruity malty(Zoo-sweeties), with a grat balance of aromatic hops. Flavour is clean with a solid malt structure that is backed up by a steady(45 IBU?), lingering bitterness. There are notes of green apples but that just adds to the flavour in this case. stanza (4), Sweden does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Updated: Jul 25, 2006Golden colored with a nice head. Marked flowery hop aroma. Medium sweet with fairly soft mouthfeel. The nice, bready maltiness combined with a generous amount of flowery hops makes it a very aromatic, distinct and enjoyable beer. Finishes with medium bitterness. The best yet from this rather new brewer. ante (2969), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Sampled draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No. 68, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy dark orange appearance, topped with a huge rocky tan coloured head. Orangey hop aroma with light sweetnes of Anjou pears. Flavour is dominated by orangey hops eith a subtle sweetness of dried apricot. Bitter aftertaste as well of orangey and grapefruity hops with a pleasant sweetness of marmelade. A clean, hoppy and tasty brew, I just want a bit more body. And it’s more american than british and that’s fine with me.
