Ole_R (1279), Oslo, Norway Jul 15, 2008 Draught @ Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg. Thin beige head, lasting and leaving fine laces. Color is clear nut-brown. Medium to strong grapefruity hop aroma. Whiffs of caramellish malts. Taste has a medium malt base, gently sweet, nicely balanced with a strong, delicious fruity hopbitterness. Near full-bodied. Smooth mouthfeel. A delicate, lasting bitter-sweet finish. Very nice.
thebeertourist (1879), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 On tap at Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm. Wonderful, creamy yellowish head on top of the hazy, shining copper beer. Potent grapefruity hop aroma, but hints of apple as well. Great citrus bitterness that lingers and lingers. Solid malty base to support it. Ful-bodied. Worth a celebration. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 11, 2008 Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, rocky head. Concentrated floral mango aroma. Medium sweet with clean, straightforward mouthfeel. Lots of citric hops gives a strong flavour of tropical fruits. A light touch of saccharine surfaces before a bitter finish. Still the hop aroma lingers longer than the bitterness. thomat (580), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 7, 2008 Golden with a small white head. Fruity and hoppy notes. Malt, ops, fruit. Medium body with a long bitter finish. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Aug 30, 2008 (Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm, 29 Aug 2008) Amber colour with firm, rocky, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange peel, pine needles and fresh, floral, citrussy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, pine needles and fresh, floral hops in the finish. Not overly bitter but with a very fresh hop character. Very nice beer. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 31, 2008 On tap at Bishops Arms Avenyn, Gothenburg. A clear, copper beer with a nice but a bit small off-white head. Aroma of orange and pinecones on a malty background. Citrus, mostly orange, and pine in the flavor, with a nice bitterness and a malty sweetness to balance it. Full body. Malty and pleasantly bitter finish. Yet another lovely, hoppy beer from Dugges.
