Aug 16, 2009 On tap. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Slightly roasted nose with a little licorice and nice hops. Hoppy, slightly chocolaty flavor, roasted and citrusy with hints of licorice. Full-bodied and sweet. Long hopped finish with a nice bitterness. A rather lovely brown ale, not to big, and quite tasteful. (090529)

Jul 19, 2009 Tap at 3 små rum (judging from the piece of paper I wrote the rating on). Cloudy red with some tan head. Sweet aroma, spices, hops, some malts, a bit dry, some paper. Taste is sweeter, some roasted malts, a bit burnt, a bit dry. Lasting taste. High bitterness.

Apr 29, 2009 Tap @ the brewery. The name says it all. Brownish ale with a lasting white. Just a bit of roasted & caramel in the nose, with a disturbing green note, as well as a yeasty one. The same for the flavour.

Oct 4, 2007 Draught at "Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival". The brewer teased be because I coukdn’t pronounce the name !! Clear dark nutbrown - offwhite head. Chokolate, hoppy, sweet malty, high malty, licorice, light smokey notes.

Oct 2, 2007 Cask at Stockholm beerfestival. Dugges is one of my favourite brewers and i look forward to when i can get more of them. Saying that this is not one of his best, but still a fine beer. Copper ... light nose little smoke ... mild fruity gentle malts ... little lemon hop with good balance.

Sep 28, 2007 Draught. High creamy off-white lasting head. Clear very dark red brown body. Lovely cocoa aroma. Cocoa hops flavor. Too bad that it was served so cold. Low carbonation. Long burned malt aftertaste.

Sep 26, 2007 Draught at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg, Sweden. Nice reddish brown colour with a medium creamy beige head. Quite complex malt profile that sneaks upon you halfway through the glass; fruity and estery with chocolat notes. Some citric hops as well leading to a long bitter finish. A subtle and delicious brown ale.
