Commercial Description:

Dark brown colour. Creamy white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of chocolate and tar. Roasty flavour with a refreshing hop bitterness and some caramel. Decent bitterness in finish.

From the tank at the Brewery: Nice creamy foam, and dark brown body.Aroma of hops, and a nice chocolate maltyness. Medium body, and a nice bitter finish. Reminds me, a littlebit of a Norwegian chrismas beer.

On draught at various locations. Dark brown/deep ruby colour. Light, very light roasty nose with loads of chocolate. Medium sweet maltiness with chocolate malt and American hops. Little grassy. Unbelievably boring beer style that doesn’t really turn me on. Props to Dugge for trying though.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Colour is dark brown with ruby hints. Nose is roasted with lots of chocolate and hints of smoke. Taste is roasted with chocolate and some tar, nice bitter and dry finish. Reminiscent of a porter. Nice, but with somewhat too much carbonation and rather unbalanced.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No. 68, Stockholm. Dark brown with a firm tan coloured head. Grassy and hoppy aroma, hints of nuts and dark chocolate. Flavour of milky chocolate and cherries with strong, almost harsh, bitter grassy hop notes. Mouthfeel is very clean, hard and let’s say very american. Dry hoppy aftertaste, notes of black cherries. Not very balanced and too hoppy for it’s own good. Drinkable though!
