Commercial Description:
The King distinctively points out which is the glass in the house. This Strong Bitter, with the classic Caramel Malt Flavours of England has both fullness and strength. Gustaf has a refreshing hop bite, where EKG and Cascade stands for the inviting aroma.

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2009) - Amber with a slight haze. Caramel and hops in the aroma with grapefruit and spicy malt. The taste is nicely balanced with hops, fruit and caramel. Solid and enjoyable.

Bottle. It pours a clear, copper-colored body and a beige head sits on top. Malt-driven aroma with pleasant hops and a little sourish note. Slightly sourish flavor too, but only in the background. Malty, with caramel and some roasted malts. Hops too. Medium body. Roasted finish with a nice hoppy bitterness. Not sure about this one, I remember it better, but maybe it didn’t benefit from some time in my cellar. Didn’t sit there too long though. (081128)

Bottle thanks to Omhper, I’m very grateful to you man! Appearance: dark amber to mahogany color. Great head, beige, rocky and lasting. Aroma: malty and some candy; yeasty notes with reminiscences of cookies and earthy touches. Light toffee hints. Hoppy smell with tea notes. Flavor: malty start; toffee, honey and yeasty hints. Slightly citric. Palate: medium body and medium to high carbonation. Remark: a sample with some problems with yeast.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black. Wonderful aroma of hops and lot´s of chocolate. Complex flavor. Sweet of chocolate but there´s also a certain sourness to it. Kind of strange but interesting balance.
