Commercial Description:
The King distinctively points out which is the glass in the house. This Strong Bitter, with the classic Caramel Malt Flavours of England has both fullness and strength. Gustaf has a refreshing hop bite, where EKG and Cascade stands for the inviting aroma.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm. Clear reddish amber, big tan coloured head. Light aroma of roasted malt and grapefruit. Some toffee, red apples, caramel and oranges in the flavour. light to medium bodied. Caramel and grass in the short aftertaste.

Bottle at RBESG grand tasting, August 2005. Rich, reddish copper colour. Rather unusual combination of flowery hops and heavy caramel malt. The malt was not very refined and had a slightly stagnant feel. The tangy bitterness coming from the hops compensated, but I still found the balance a little suspect. An intriguing beer though - always interesting to get European takes on British beer styles. Just makes you realise how difficult categorisation is.

Bottle. Wow, really grassy and hoppy, with smooth wheaty malt, and some caramel flavours. Very nice i thought, quite drinkable.

Bottled at RBESG. Clear nut brown. Flowery nose. Very roasty and really malty with solid, clean, rounded mouthfeel and lingering bitter finish. A promising brew from this new brewer!
