Lacks balance and elegance, actually unpleasant. lassem (321), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep cloudy dark amber with a lasting golden head. The nose is soo fresh and filled with hops the american way. I also sense some vanilla, hip and caramel. The taste is bitter with an overwhelming tribute to americas way of filling bottles with hops and alot of green fields. The taste could be more complex. The palate is surprisingly creamy and makes a nice mouthfeel. Finish is bitter notes. KimJohansen (7264), Copenhagen V, Denmark

Hoppy flavour with toasted malt, pine and caramel notes. Finished solid bitter. saxo (3680), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2008 50 cl bottle, reddish dark amber color with off-white long lasting head. Lots of citrus fruit with an overpowering bitterness that lasts long, the bitterness does not leave enough room for the other tastes to appear. Palate is nice and a bit oily. Well made IPA with generous hopping (perhaps to generous with high alpha bittering hops). weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Bottle shared withor Mes and I too must thank thatfloppy hat with corks in it wearing knifey spoony freak Duff. Dark ambr, red tinged beer with a nice beige head. Smelly. In a god way. Like an ipa with bg balls. Alcool is present ut gis it balls, which I lie. Not balls, I like women but a beer with bells on I like.Nice sweeness and bitterness, biscuit berries, almos like a brune IPA. Little citrus in the finish.Right up my street. Cheers. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle from Ølbutikken thanks to Westy McShane Boganmeister Duffles. Hazy amber colour with a good beige head. Big cheesy hop aroma giving some good tangerine notes with some nice sweet yeast and chunky malt in the background. The flavour is similar with some lovely biscuity notes and an assertive bitterness. Slight ethanol and rubber but in a good way. Faint hit of soap too but again it’s strangely appealing. Long, lonnnnnng finish with loads of bittering hops and a lingering citric aftertaste. Lovely stuff.
