This is a fantastic beer and the different american hops have done their thing to make this an incredible experience. Aroma is absolutely stunning of american citrus and pine-needle hops. Taste is even better: citrus, pine-needle, grapefruit and a pleasant malty caramel/toffee taste which brings a good balance to this beer. Good bitterness. Also nearly full-bodied and creamy palate. Fantastic! OleR (2093), Oslo, Norway
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 9, 2008 500 ml bottle@Hacket, Göteborg. A red beer with big fluffy lasting beige head. Intense citrussy aroma, unripe oranges and red grapefruit. A nice scent of sweetish malts to balance. Taste has good malt base, and a strong fruity hop bitterness to deal with it. Near full-bodied. Long bitter ending. Balanced and punchy with high drinkability. Maria (6286), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2008 The color is like a dark, red bronze and the head is nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of spruce and citrus (mostly grapefruit), and the flavour has a light caramel-sweetness as counterweight to a rather good bitterness, that IMO isn’t extreme. It has notes of spruce, citrus (mostly the orange varieties), mango and it ends on a slightly dry note. It’s delicious and nicely balanced. HenrikSoegaard (4363), Randers, Denmark

Moderate malty heavy hoppy great aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Grassy and flowery notes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Fantastic IPA. Defreni (1017), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Flaske. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. 50 cl. Large beige thick bubbly head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Sparkling pale amber color. Aroma of mild pine, citrus, hint of apricot, caramel and subdued fruity notes. Over the palate came mild toasted malt and moderated bitter hoppy notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good counter sweetness. Dry bitter hoppy finish. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
