Tap @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph.
[as ’Aged for the Enke’]
Pours deep red with a medium, creamy off-white head. Super duration. Aroma is wonderfully hoppy, good pine, a heavy sweetness behind it. Some berries and caramel as well. Very creamy mouthfeel depite a rather high carbonation. Flavour is lightly funky, super bitterness with lots of pine and grapefruit. Feels light for 7,5 % ABV. Long fruity aftertaste. Perhaps it is a bit too sweet for me (behind all the hops).

Amber with a lasting off-white head. Pine, resin, perfume-y peach in the aroma. Rather sweet with a rough hop bitterness. Maybe too much high alpha hop?

From tap at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours clear and golden amber with a dense white head. Dense pine and fruity hops aroma. Flavour is solid hops with notes of pine and liqourice. Dry fruity and bitter finish. Very bitter and liqourice into the far finish.

Draught. 9 months lagered version. Clear red-amber. Quite hoppy and fruity, bit sweet with a little mild sour touch. Very good mouthfeel. Bitter and hoppy fresh fruity flavour with some spices, caramel and malt. Hoppy spiced finish.

Draught. Has an amber colour with a off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, caramel and hops. Nice! Flavour is loads and loads of tropical fruits - pineapple! Also some notes of caramel and pure hops. Bitter from start to finish. Nice one!

Draft at The Rover. Pours amber with decent white head. Aroma is very piney with spritzes of light fruitiness as well. The taste is predominantly piney with just a tinge of malt support. I can’t say I got the creamy palate most other people seem to have gotten, which is disappointing. Good thing this beer can stand tall above that. The finish is very bitter and doesn’t linger too much. A very solid IPA.

On-tap at the brewery. Amber/red color with a beige head. Aroma: American hops, sweet malt, grape, pine, caramel and sweet fruits. Flavor: Hoppy, grape fruit, caramel, spicy, sweet fruit, lightly roasted malt. Juicy and creamy mouthfeel with a bitter finish. Very good!

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark amber color; thin creamy cap. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity over all, but also a bit resiny, and with a milky fudge touch. Very good body, not sticky, but with a good sweet caramel and malt flavor, complemented by the strong hopping, balancing between subtle fruitness and elegant resins. Needless to say, the final is very long and strong, still with some sugars to moderate the hops. Excellent.
