Bottle at RBESG 2007. Wow, I really liked this one. Chestnut colour with thin beige head. Nice IPA aroma. Good aggressive grapefruit. Lovely everything. Jeez, that’s awesome. First proper IPA of the day.

Bottle @ Bishops Arms, Karlstad. Finally I’ve got to lay my hands on a beer from Dugges. This is a fantastic beer and the different american hops have done their thing to make this an incredible experience. Aroma is absolutely stunning of american citrus and pine-needle hops. Taste is even better: citrus, pine-needle, grapefruit and a pleasant malty caramel/toffee taste which brings a good balance to this beer. Good bitterness. Also nearly full-bodied and creamy palate. Fantastic!

On draught at Haket, Göteborg. Dark amber colour, average head, very creamy. Intense hoparoma from strawberry jam and pine. Chewy, big flavour with notes of strawberry jam and juniper. Bit of chocolate as well. Dry, puckering bitterness. High alpha hop monster, very agressive but tasty.

On draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Dark amber colour. Steady head. Aroma from exotic fruits along with a slight piney touch. Very fresh nose here with low levels of caramel. Flavour is superb - here are generous amounts of hops that gives a wonderful profile from resin, chocolate, mandarine, grass and such. Interesting how the hops can dominate over malt character at this high abv-level. Incredibly tasty beer!

Cask at Stockholm beerfestival. Dugges is one of my favourite brewers and i look forward to when i can get more of them... copper ... high american hop very very pungernt ... very juicy resiny lime and citric hops and lits of pine tones ... good mix of hops gives this great depth and complexity

Amber coloured with a quite thick off white head. Exotic fruits aroma, lots of hops in this one..... Pine, peach and a number of other aromas. Extreme bitterness, somewhat caramelly. Well balanced and wonderful.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Poured copper-coloured with a huge, creamy tan head. Complex hop aroma-definitely citrus, but also spices and apples. Bitter as can be with grapefruit hoppiness taking the lead. Still, other fruit linger in the background. A wonderful Swedish IPA

Draught@The Rover, Gothenburg. Amber with a stable, creamy offwhite-coloured head. Potent citrussy hop aroma, mostly grapefruit. Flavours are very bitter indeed with grapefruit showing you who is the boss. Quite full-bodied, medium carbonation. Absolutely fabulous.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark amber color; thin creamy cap. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity over all, but also a bit resiny, and with a milky fudge touch. Very good body, not sticky, but with a good sweet caramel and malt flavor, complemented by the strong hopping, balancing between subtle fruitness and elegant resins. Needless to say, the final is very long and strong, still with some sugars to moderate the hops. Excellent.
