madsberg (4377), Bangalore, India Jun 28, 2008 Bottled. Orange/golden coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Sweetness, light herbs, fruits and light citrus in the aroma. Flavour of pine, flowers, light spice and light berries. Medium bodied. Dry. LIght bitter end. Easy to drink, but a bit on the light side.
cgarvieuk (2614), Edinburgh, Scotland Nov 21, 2008 Bottle at home from my Copenhagen haul ... Nice copper with big short lived foam head ... malty pine hop ... big fruity pine hop ... little sweet ... big citrus ...little smokey ... Having with a spicy pizza had destroyed the subtly tones ... but its really working for me ... another duggees hit... though a bit over carbonated Maria (4761), Thisted, Denmark Oct 25, 2008 It’s slightly hazy, red copper and the head is huge, creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt, fruity hops, citrus and a light milky sourness. The flavour also has a hint of sour milk, notes of fruit, citrus (mostly grapefruit) and very little malt. I miss some caramel and more malt, and I wonder if it’s supposed to have this slightly tart, milky sourness? PMgep (33), Lund, Sweden Oct 11, 2008 (Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Nice strong aroma with lots of hops. The flavor is very faint, with citrus and fruit. The aftertaste is very long and stronger than the flavor. thewolf (4146), Kolding, Denmark Oct 1, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.<br />
Deep brownish red with a fine, large, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma is big and hoppy. Lots of strawberries, melons, herbs, light spiciness and grapefruit. Some malts and slight yeasty cardboard as well. Highish carbonation, a bit weak in mouthfeel. Flavour is low on malts, some yeast and a nice, fruity, bitter finish. Somehow, the initial flavours don’t add up all that well to the rest of the beer. tarjei (1370), Bryne, Norway Sep 8, 2008 50 cl bottle, shared with Bjørnar and Roger. Brown color, lovely beige head. Aroma is hops and fruit, perfume and spices. Flavor is fruit and hops, maybe with hints of citric. Bitterness in the finish (surprise, surprise!).
