| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Orange brown color, light gusher. Grapefruit, cinnamon and a hint of yeast in the aroma. Thin, grapefruity flavor, firmly hopped, oily and citric. Grapefruit aftertaste. I doubt if it is a bitter ale, but it is a lovely session ale. faroeviking (6042), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

The aroma has fruity hops and caramel notes. The flavour has notes of citrus, fruit, a hoppy bitterness and a little caramel. I like it, but I think it would have been in a better balance if there had been a little more caramel to balance the kind of rough bitterness. KimJohansen (7007), Copenhagen V, Denmark

[thank you, yngwie]
Pours deep, clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white, film head. Aroma is powerful of fruity hops and soft, sweet caramel. A little thin, but very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is totally unbalanced, far to much hops with no apparent malt base. Certainly not Dugges’ finest.
