Distinct hop aroma; earth and grass. Taste is a nice blend of sweet caramellish malts and a strong and punchy hop bitterness. Some fruity-acidic notes. Good body. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Nice all over. liinis (721), Helsinki, Finland

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle… Hazy amber ale with orange highlights and a huge, wispy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Black tea and earthy, noble hops highlight the aroma; with a touch of caramel and a whisper of chocolate rounding things off. Medium-bodied with unassuming carbonation. Excellent balance. Very lightly sweet with moderate to medium tanginess and mild bitterness. Crisp finish. Terrific session beer; I could drink it all day. Thanks go out to marsiblursi for floating this one across the pond! MrBeachtwig (45), Sandared, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Really nice apperance with medium lasting off white head and deep amber brown. Promising nice hoppy aroma. Taste is also hoppy with some bitterness, but the artifical citrus finish with too thin body results in lower rate in my book. deft (79), Sweden

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Bottled. Pale red, amber. Thick beige head. Citrusy aroma, soap and flower. Taste lemon, lime, grapefruit. Quite ok - but just a little bit boring. The taste is rather original, but not in an interesting way. FatPhil (3484), Espoo, Finland

Slightly hazy rich red, small tan head. Aromatic hoppy aroma - whole new world hops - fruity and a bit floral. At first quite watery, but an acrid bitterness kicks in and coats the tongue quite quickly. Taste is primarily soapy, and only minor hints of fleshy fruits - melon and peach. Very unbalanced - there’s really not enough malt in the body compared with the astringent soapy hops. Some malt is present in the finish, but the soap on the tongue lasts ten times longer. Started so well - the aroma and look when pouring - but what a let-down.
