Commercial Description:
A "Best bitter" with a slight amount of roasted barley, that puts emphasis on both colour and taste. Centennial- and Cascade hops gives Johanna a mild, but fresh bitterness and also an eldery floweriness. A lovely, light, dry Bitter that balances nicely on its high pedestal.

500ml Bottle-Copper coloured with a bit of a haze and a lively head. Hoppy, floral aroma with a bit of chocolate and peach. It is very inviting indeed. Delicious chocolatey and hoppy taste with a pleasing but subtle aftertaste which has chocolate, peach and a bit of buttery toffee. Delicious and very well balanced.

(Bottled) Hazy darkish ruby red with a smallish, tanned head and some lace. Fruity, aromatic-hoppy nose with strawberry and lemon, plus toffeeish-roasty malt. Roasted-malty, fruity, aromatic-nutty-hoppy, slightly ashy flavor - unfortunately with somewhat unpleasant glueish notes. Lingering, roasty-nutty-ashy aftertaste. Light to medium-bodied palate with smooth carbonation. Basically an ok, dry bitter, but the glue notes (from the yeast?) and ashiness are a bit distracting.

Small yellowish beige head quickly disappears. Amber body. Fruity, earthy, roasty aroma with notes of peas and malts. Dry-sweet earthy roasty caramel taste with spicy, fruity notes and hints of wood. Medium body, dusty mouthfeel. Excellent for so little alcohol. (0.5l bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg.)

On-Tap at Bishops Arms, Gothenburg. Red/brown color with off-white head. Smells of hops, citrus fruits, grass, yeast, light caramel. Hoppy taste with notes of citrus, flowers, toasted malt and nuts. Dry hoppy finish. Light body. It has a real ale feeling to it.

Usual stunning Dugges looks. A copper, dark, cloudy pour over which thrones a generous yellow head. Rather citric in the nose with obviously american hops offering seville orange and lime, floral aromas. Quite bitter, not sure it works that well, the maltiness feels a bit neglected amongst this hop onslaught. Faint toastiness, dominating citrus fruits. Fairly effervescent body. A confusing bitter lacking the great malty structure of many of the other brewery’s offerings.

Hazy orange. Begie head. Nose has lots of hops and fruits. Flavor brings hops, apples and malty feel.

Draught. Low white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy cobber body. Pretty hoppy aroma. Mild barley malt flavor with low carbonation, not much bitterness but still not sweet. Actually quite well balanced. A bit of caramel but not muchs ats to the short aftertaste.
