Hoppy, floral aroma with a bit of chocolate and peach. It is very inviting indeed. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2008 (Bottled) Hazy darkish ruby red with a smallish, tanned head and some lace. Fruity, aromatic-hoppy nose with strawberry and lemon, plus toffeeish-roasty malt. Roasted-malty, fruity, aromatic-nutty-hoppy, slightly ashy flavor - unfortunately with somewhat unpleasant glueish notes. Lingering, roasty-nutty-ashy aftertaste. Light to medium-bodied palate with smooth carbonation. Basically an ok, dry bitter, but the glue notes (from the yeast?) and ashiness are a bit distracting. larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway

Excellent for so little alcohol. (0.5l bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg.) Jonte (821), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Usual stunning Dugges looks. A copper, dark, cloudy pour over which thrones a generous yellow head. Rather citric in the nose with obviously american hops offering seville orange and lime, floral aromas. Quite bitter, not sure it works that well, the maltiness feels a bit neglected amongst this hop onslaught. Faint toastiness, dominating citrus fruits. Fairly effervescent body. A confusing bitter lacking the great malty structure of many of the other brewery’s offerings. screwball (796), Motala, Sweden
