Clear amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fat citrusy aroma. Light-bodied, a little caramel and fruit but otherwise completely dominated by dry and bitter aroma hops. More of an American Pale Ale really. 230808 and 180908 bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Orange brown color, light gusher. Grapefruit, cinnamon and a hint of yeast in the aroma. Thin, grapefruity flavor, firmly hopped, oily and citric. Grapefruit aftertaste. I doubt if it is a bitter ale, but it is a lovely session ale. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 23, 2008 Botella. Hazy golden orange. Lovely ripe fruity aroma with pine. Good filling mouthfeel. Fruity bitter flavour with a mild sweetness and a good bitterness from the Centennial and Cascade hops.
