Commercial Description:
A "Best bitter" with a slight amount of roasted barley, that puts emphasis on both colour and taste. Centennial- and Cascade hops gives Johanna a mild, but fresh bitterness and also an eldery floweriness. A lovely, light, dry Bitter that balances nicely on its high pedestal.

Draught at Bishops Arms in Gothenburg in December 2005 and The Rover March 14.
Tasted better this time, either they’ve changed the recipie or I had less to drink before tasting this one. Beautiful darm amber color with a lasting head. Very citrus like hoppy scent and taste. Great bitterness.

On-Tap at Bishops Arms, Gothenburg. Red/brown color with off-white head. Smells of hops, citrus fruits, grass, yeast, light caramel. Hoppy taste with notes of citrus, flowers, toasted malt and nuts. Dry hoppy finish. Light body. It has a real ale feeling to it.

500ml Bottle-Copper coloured with a bit of a haze and a lively head. Hoppy, floral aroma with a bit of chocolate and peach. It is very inviting indeed. Delicious chocolatey and hoppy taste with a pleasing but subtle aftertaste which has chocolate, peach and a bit of buttery toffee. Delicious and very well balanced.

(Draught at Bishops Arms) Pours dark amber with a thick white head. Fruity, grapefruit nose with small hints of ash. Malty, fruity slight citric flavour with some notes of chocolate and toast. Smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and hoppy. Dry palate. A little grassiness is sensible in finish. Has a "Dugges" house character.

Drauht at the brewery:Brown body. Aroma, there was lots og chinooc and casade hops, and a bit of sweet malt. A thin body, but the long bitter finish give the beer carakter. .It was tatsed direkt from the tank, so it was a bit too cold, therefor the body was too thin this time. I will re rated this beer after a time.

Dark amber color. Nice fruity hoppy aroma. Caramel, sweet taste, toffee; with a good aromatic hop. Sweet and aromatic, unusual and dangerous.
