Dugges Kals Stout

Flaske. Kæmpe skumhoved på en brunsort øl. Desværre tager skummet en del af karboneringen. Ellers fin fin oatmeal stout. Helt rigtig duft og smag, med en anelse humlebid som er så typisk Dugge. God øl.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. Black color with creamy tan head. Sweetish aroma with coffee and charcoal. Dryer flavor with coffee, charcoal, firm bitterness, grassy and vinous roastiness. Charcoal finish. Good basic stout.

Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cold coffee, seawater, prune acidic - sweet notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and salty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [270908]

(On tap) Pours a hazy black with an orange hue and a rough, beige head. Burned malty aroma. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, burned malty accents and a malt bitter finish. 180908

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Aroma of coffe and chokolate. Very faint flavor of chokolate but it dissaperas to fast. To much carbon acid.

Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter and roasted finish.

Draught@SBWF2008. Deep brown colour, no head. Aroma is coffee, hops and mild peat. Flavour is fruits, some slight sour yeastyness, mild coffeeish and chocolateish notes. Yet very balanced. Aftertaste is mainly coffee and wood. Nicely balanced and rather sweet in the finish.
