Draught. Reddish amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is hops, mild caramel and some slight burnt sugar. Flavour is hops, wood, earth and some burnt sugary notes. Mild notes of licorice too. Hoppy and nice finish.

Draught at SOPP 2008, Helsinki. Reddish brown color with creamy tan head. Sweet, caramelly, berryish and hoppy aroma with lemony-flowery hops as well as grassy dry hops. Bittersweet, berrryish, caramelly and hoppy flavor with flowery, lemony and black curranty hops. Chewy and caramelly mouthfeel is detracting and masking the hops.

On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. It pours a nice, creamy beige head over a ruby to brown, clear body. Piney, sugary nose with chocolate and a heavy maltyness. Lots of citrusy and piney hops. Sweet, chocolate flavor with coffee, citrus and pine. Balanced bitterness. Fullbodied and a bit sticky. Well hidden alcohol. Sweetish, bitter finish. Really nice one, dangerously quaffable. (Draught at SOPP2008) Dark reddish brown. Clear. Medium-sized quickly disappeared white head. Malts and hops in nose. Full palate with some carbonation. Salty liquorice, hops and alcohol in taste. Dry afterstaste. Strong body. Alchol pushes through a bit.

My 400th rated Swedish beer. Clear ruby-nut brown color, small beige head. Aroma has nutty toffee, barnyard and alcohol. Foamy carbonated front, toffee, fruity hops, some smoke and dark malts. Liquerish brew with hoppy aftertaste.

Keg (SOPP2008, Helsinki)
Dark red, small beige head. Big bold sherbetty hoppy aroma. Quite sharp carbonation, lively. Sticky and numbing hoppy taste, quite overpowering at times. Actually, this has made my brain go numb as well as my mouth. Doesn’t taste 9%, but certainly noticeable as a powerful brew.
