Marsiblursi (1246), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 22, 2008 (Drught) Pours black with a brown head. The aroma is of medium to heavily roasted and light to medium-burned malt with tones of dark caramel, molasses, dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Some orange peels are present alongside a tough US hoppiness of spicy pine and mild citrus/grapfruit. The flavour is heavily roasted and medium burned with tones of liquorice, coffee and mild tar. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky, rather thick and oily with a perfect carbonation. Light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Some oranges. Medium to full bodied. fiulijn (5650), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 7, 2008 Draught at the Rover, Göteborg Black color; creamy head. It has a medium aroma of cardboard and roasted malt. Smooth flavor, round mouthfeel, with a good and balanced mix of roasted malt, caramel and very dark chocolate, that hides a nice hop; salty. The final is balanced too. Well brewed. anders37 (2424), Malmö, Sweden Jun 3, 2008 Draught @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. My beer # 200 from Sweden. Pours a black color with a small tan head.
