Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Black color, brown head. Roasted malt aroma, some coffee, some tar. Licorice flavor, tar notes, malt, viol and some bitterness.

Sep 10, 2008 Draught, 8%. Sweet liquorice aroma. Almost black colour. Very small light brown head. Quite sweet flavour, very roasted, good roasted maltiness. Some yeast in the aftertaste, and a lot of coffee.

Apperance: Dark with a small beige head.
Aroma: Chocolate, Roasted malt, bread.
Flavor: Espresso, Citric notes, Chocolate, Licorice, Tar.
Palate: Smooth with just enough carbonation to make this very drinkable.
A very nice porter from Dugges that i’ll be happy to try again sometime!

Aug 14, 2008 (Draught at One Pint, Helsinki, on 2008-08-13) Black. Small tan head. Hops, coffee and roastedness in nose. Full-bodied and dryish palate. Roastedness, chocolate, fruitiness and coffee in taste. There was some annoying metallic flavour that disturbed me.

Jet black, tan head. Rich full-bodied roasty taste, plenty of tangy details, including a dry burntness which stays for quite a long finish. Very aromatic when swirled around the mouth. Some slight coffee hint too. Covers the alcohol very well, and very drinkable.
