Dugges F & U avdelning har testat hur Amarillohumle smakar. Den här brygden är i princip bara torrhumlad... och bara med massor av Amarillo. An "Over-Nite Sensation"! Viva Zappa!

From tap at Bishops Arms Malmö. Pours slight cloudy and yellow with a huge white head. Smooth citrus fruity and hoppy aroma. Sweet and fruity amarillo hops flavour with a slowly building bitterness. Smooth and citric finish. Light and refreshing.

I can’t figure out the aroma. Citrus and something else such as lavender. Pale, yellow with a nice head. A well balanced body and bitterness. Really nice with clams!

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Hazy pale blond color. Very citrusy aroma, the body is very light, with a pleasant hopping, not too strong. Despite the fact that is weak, it’s very refreshing.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm, 4 Nov 2008) Pale yellow colour with green tinges, frothy white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with distinct grassy, citrussy notes of Amarillo hops. Hoppy, grassy taste with lemon, grass and distinct Amarillo hints. Nice and hoppy beer. In short: lemony, grassy Amarillo.

Draught at the brewery. Pale golden, medium white head. Fruity and strongly hoppy aroma with citrus, flowers, and pine. Good balance with moderate bitterness. A bit acidic, probably due to the hops.
